//Front end development
I have been fortunate enough to work with Nokia and their mobile application Trapster. Trapster is a crowd-sourced driving application that alerts drivers to potential road hazards and other points of interest. I helped Trapster develop their redesigned web presence featuring a responsive design and a light-weight Backbone.js framework.
My work with The Daily Save LLC—a part of the San Diego Reader magazine—allowed me the opportunity to create the user experience for an e-commerce platform; both the user facing website, as well as client admin experience. Utilizing the knowledge gained from their previous web application, I designed a multi-faceted web application which consisted of a CRM, CMS, e-commerce inventory system, billing, reports, email builder, and much more. I also designed and front end developed the customer front end for readercity.com and other client instances.
At ed2go.com, a division of Cengage Learning, Inc., I was in charge of the user experience of their online learning e-commerce portal as well as many marketing efforts including email and partner communications. Teaming up with over 1,800 college and university partners across the country, I provided the partners with platform and online marketing designs which enabled students to find and enroll in online education.
For over ten years, I have been creating multimedia products for a variety of clients ranging from a small landscape start-up to a nationally recognized marketing company. I have produced websites, video and motion graphics, graphic design, print collateral, interactive CDs and DVDs, and marketing services.
Talk about multimedia; video combines visuals and audio to tell a story, persuade an audience, or just capture the imagination. I direct, produce, write, edit, and animate video and motion graphics for companies ranging from educational institutions to pharmaceutical corporations.
